Levenhuk LabZZ MT2 Microscope & Telescope Kit Video Review:
Levenhuk LabZZ MT2 Kit is an ideal gift for an inquisitive and curious child! The telescope allows for your child’s first steps into understanding the structure of the mysterious Universe, and the quality microscope will help a kid learn more about all the things surrounding us in everyday life – and see their cellular structure. Both instruments are very easy to handle. But don’t think these are just toys – they are serious instruments with quality optics and a robust design.
Telescope This refracting telescope features 50-mm objective lens diameter – quite enough for terrestrial and primary astronomical observations. This telescope allows observing the Moon and Solar System planets, as well as many terrestrial objects.
The kit includes two eyepieces. H12.5 mm eyepiece provides 50x magnification power and is used for viewing celestial objects. The erecting 18 mm eyepiece allows for getting direct images of observed objects, which is very convenient for terrestrial observations.
The erecting eyepiece can also be used as a pocket microscope with 14x magnification.
The telescope is set on an altazimuth mount that allows you to move the telescope up and down or from side to side. The kit includes a convenient table tripod.
Microscope
The microscope allows observing of transparent microscope samples, such as thin slices of plants or pet hair. This microscope comes with three objective lenses producing 75x, 300x and 900x magnification.
To change the magnification power, simply switch the objectives by turning the revolving nosepiece.
The observed samples are illuminated by the light that reflects from the mirror.
If natural light is not sufficient, you can also use the built-in illumination source. The kit includes ready-to-use microscope slides, as well as a variety of tools necessary for your child’s first independent experiments and research.

I bought the Zenith Star 103 last year, it had 30% discount and it is my first telescope.
I use it with a 0.8 reducer on an AM5 mount and connected to a ZWO 183 mono camera. This focal length (575mm with reducer) is versatile, it can be used especially for Lunar imaging and it is also quite fit for some of the most popular deep sky objects too.
The moon photography I get with this scope is excellent, beyond what I expected. I also captured some great images of Orion Nebula, Horsehead, the Pleiades, M33, Rosette, Flaming Star etc. After one year what I can say is that I love this scope, I will certainly keep it. I might buy another one with a shorter focal length to cover different targets, maybe Redcat 51 or ZS 61. The convenient focuser and its 360° rotation ability in Zenith Star scopes is something I'd like to keep.
