This is the stainless steel counterweight Extension Bar supplied as standard with Skywatcher NEQ6 mounts. Enables you to balance telescopes up to 10″ without excessive counterbalance weight. The polished shaft screws onto the existing counterweight shaft extending it’s length 18.5 cm (7.3″). The extension is 18mm in diameter with an M12 thread.

These single axis (R.A.) DC motor drives are powered by 4 "D" cell batteries (not included). A set of batteries will allow several nights of observing. 2x and 8x tracking speeds (2x and 4x for EQ1 model) are available through the hand controller.
