Introducing The SkyGuiderTM Pro -- iOptron’s next generation camera tracking device! Leading the camera tracker market for nearly four years, iOptron's SkyGuider Pro pushes closer to perfection.
The redesigned SkyGuiderrTM Pro mount head is more compact, small enough to fit on your palm, better precision, silent tracking, built-in rechargeable power source, ST-4 guiding port and camera trigger port. The improved precision polar scope maintains a fine engraved reticule, now features adjustable illumination with different brightness levels. Using with our iOS app, quick and accurate polar alignment is just a joy. The DEC mounting bracket allows you to balance a heavy camera and/or lens better, or even mount a light telescope. The optional 8408 hand controller allows you to check the Pole Star position for the polar alignment, slew the mount, adjust the guiding rate, change the mount settings and control the camera trigger.
The SkyGuiderTM Pro features four tracking rates, 1X or sidereal, 1/2X for sky and landscape combined, solar and lunar. All 4 tracking rates work in both northern and southern hemispheres. We have also added a quick slew mode with both forward and reverse to help quickly reframing your image without disrupting the cameras position.

We have made big improvements on the SkyGuiderTM Pro’s removable alt-azimuth base, which features a precision bubble level, degree markings for the altitude and a built in post for the azimuth control. You can also mount the SkyGuiderTM Pro head (without the base) directly to any standard photographic tripod with 1/4” or 3/8” threads.
The DEC mounting bracket package, which includes DEC mounting bracket, counterweight shaft, counterweight and Vixen-type dovetail saddle, makes the SkyGuideTM Pro mount suitable for a heavier camera/lens system, even a lightweight telescope.
GOTONOVA® computerized control system (these features come with the optional 8408 Hand Controller) The revolutionary GOTONOVA® computerized control system is by far the most technologically advanced automated goto and tracking system available on the market today. A Go2Nova® 8408 hand controller, with latest firmware, can be plugged into the HBX port on a SkyGuiderTM Pro mount to slew the mount in RA axis, set the mount parameters, display Pole Star position, and control the camera shutter.
The most easy to understand controller on the market (these features come with the optional 8408 Hand Controller) The GoToNova hand controller is much easier to use than other similar products. The hand controller is more intuitive with menu categories better organized. It also has a larger LCD screen with more lines of content compared with the competition. Using the easy-to-use hand controller and its large LCD screen, you can easily set up your mount. On the Skyguider Pro, it displays the mount type, Current GuideRate (0.50), TrackingRate (Sidereal), Mount Status (Track), R.A. Slew Speed (MAX), Current Time (09:20:15) and N/S Hemisphere (N).
The SkyGuiderTM Pro is certainly a must have tool for any photographer interested in astroscape or wide field astrophotography.

Users are often racked by the task of choosing and matching dazzling filters as well as adapters when it comes to using a filter drawer. It just becomes more confusing for those who are quite new to astrophotography. To solve this problem, Askar introduces a multifunctional filter drawer. The major feature or strength of this filter drawer is its integration of the most marketable filters, telescope and astronomy camera adapters. Users basically don’t need to worry about the related issues any more with this five-in-one filter installation device.
ZWO has released a brand-new FF65APO 0.75× full frame reducer with a four-element optical design. It has a reduction factor of 0.75x, which gives the FF65APO f/6.4 astrograph a shortened focal ratio of f/4.8 and a shorter focal length of 312mm. This allows for less total integration time and a wider field of view, bringing more convenience and possibilities for your wide-field deep sky imaging. The back focus distance is the standard 55mm. It also comes with two thread adapters of M54 and M48, and a built-in M48x0.75 2” filter thread, which makes the connection work simple and convenient.
I am a beginner and bought this to make sure my scope was set up correctly. The slight problem I had was that the batteries supplied where dead but when I was able to buy new ones it worked very well.
