The Sky-Watcher BK1021 series uses two-element, air-spaced, multi-coated objective achromatic refractor tubes. They are truly outstanding, high-performance, high-resolution instruments manufactured to extremely high standards of optical and mechanical precision. With their long focal lenghs and breathtaking, diffraction limited optical performance, they are ideal for the detailed high-power study of the Moon, Planetary Surfaces and other objects in our solar system, giving crisp contrasty images. Sky-Watcher EQ3 on steel tripod

The heavy-duty EQ3 mount features 360-degree worm-gear tracking controls on both axes, large knob-style R.A. and Dec. lock bolts, dual metal setting circle dials, a latitude adjustment screw, and a built-in polar scope holder. It can be fitted with both single and double axis motor drive for auto-tracking.
