The Levenhuk M35 BASE Digital Camera is an entry-level model in the line of digital cameras for beginner biologists. Immediately after installing it, you can record all your research. The 0.3Mpx camera allows recording video with 640x480 resolution and 30fps. This camera is good for becoming familiar with microphotography, for live streaming of your studies, and for creating amateur photo and video archives of the observations.

 

To start recording, just connect the camera to your laptop or PC via USB cable. This camera does not need any additional power source and works out of the box.

Levenhuk Digital Camera is compatible with microscopes of 23.2-mm eyepiece tube diameter. The camera can also be mounted on eyepiece tubes of other diameters using adapters (not included in the kit).

It also gives you the opportunity to transfer the image (video) to your PC or notebook monitor in real time.

The kit includes a CD with special software that allows you to edit previously saved images: zoom them, crop them, change the contrast, and so forth.

To ensure the best possible performance of your new camera, make sure your computer complies with the system requirements specified by the manufacturer. Compatible OS include Mac, Linux, and Windows. A USB 2.0 port is required to establish a connection.
If the software does not run on your computer, please contact us and specify your operating system and its version (for Linux: platform and kernel version).

The latest version of Levenhuk Software for Windows supports eight languages: English, French, German, Polish, Russian, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Turkish.

The kit includes:

  • USB cable for connection to PC or laptop and power supply
  • Installation CD with Levenhuk image editing software and the required drivers

I bought this item several months ago and I have to say that I've been quite impressed, It's very easy to use and once set up works fine. It is relatively easy to use as you basically look through the glass window at the night sky and your scope should see what it sees, assuming that you have set it up correctly. Overall a decent finder scope.
