The well-engineered and easy-to-use AZ PRONTO Alt-Azimuth mount provides excellent stability and precise control, via its slow-motion cables, on both the horizontal (azimuth) and vertical (altitude) axes.

The mount replaces a photo tripod and can do a lot more. It is very transportable with a good 3 kg weight. The mount head can be easily separated from the aluminum tripod. This makes the AZ Pronto ideal for traveling and even for air travel.

Fast panning and precise tracking

The mount is built like a tilt head and also offers a quick slewing option. If you tighten the large dimensioned fixing screws, the position is maintained even in case of slight imbalance. Worm gears in both axes allow the mount to be precisely adjusted horizontally and vertically. This can be used to track slow objects, such as stars in the sky, or to accurately center the target at higher magnification.

The AZ Pronto has a Vixen style saddle. Various instruments can be attached via this quick coupling.

The height-adjustable aluminum tripod

The aluminum tripod can be extended to a height of over 1 meter. Each leg can be clamped in different positions. This allows the mount to be perfectly level even on uneven terrain. The tripod is lightweight, but, due to the stable storage plate, very robust.

Sharpstar 61EDPHIII f/4.4 Full-Frame Reducer

The special full-frame reducer of 61EDPH Ⅲ: One end of the thread is M68 × 1, connected to the focuser; the other end of the thread is M48 × 0.75 and has a built-in 2" filter thread. The back focus is 55mm. If it needs to be extended, the adapter can be screwed down to reveal the M54 × 0.75 male thread, and the back focus becomes 75mm. The focuser adopts a quadruplet air-spaced structure, supporting full-frame imaging. With the reducer, the focal ratio of 61EDPHⅢ is reduced to F4.4 and the focal length is reduced to 270mm, making the telescope the first choice for deep sky astrophotography.

I took this Telescope because the 10 inch GSO Dobsonian was sold out. After building a Rocker Box myself, i tried it yesterday and i am very happy with it. The shipping was super fast,- all perfect.
