All Farpoint Products are made in the USA at our facilities in Gold River, California.
Farpoint flexible dew shields are made from nearly indestructible ABS plastic with Velcro closure and felt lining to keep dew from dripping. Velcro closure is sewn with reinforcing upholstery thread. Dew shields come with and without notch. Un-notched dew shields are for fork and “D” sized dovetail mounted telescopes. Notched versions are for “V” style dovetail mounted telescopes.
Also called a dew shield, a lens shade is an essential accessory that protects your optical tube from excess moisture forming condensation on the corrector lens. A lens shade also helps block out stray light outside the path of the telescope for better viewing and astroimaging.

Optolong L-Synergy dual-narrow band filter FWHM7nm
Optolong L-Synergy is a dual 7nm narrowband filter compatible with DSLR cameras, color CMOS sensors, and CCD cameras, supporting telescope systems with F-ratio of F3.3 or above (slower system). Its key advantage lies in enabling astrophotography amateurs to capture exceptionally detailed emission nebulae even in light-polluted environments. it has been optimized to minimize bright star halos while isolating all emission lines except SII and OIII, achieving maximum effective transmission.
