A convenient alternative to guidescope rings.
Features full alt-azimuth control for quick and precise alignment of guidescope with main telescope. Includes a Sky-Watcher/Vixen-type saddle which can be removed to allow a dovetail bar to be fitted directly to top plate. Includes a DSLR camera mounting screw at the front of the top-plate.
New high quality guidescope mount from Skywatcher makes autoguiding a whole lot easier. All you need to do is attach this mount on top of your tube rings via camera mount screw, then slot your guide scope in to the standard vixen opening and your away!
Unlike the conventional guide scope holder, which relies on pushing screws on the body of the tube, the ultra strong and stable Guide scope Mount features a dovetail mounting system for the quick-release attachment/detachment. With the Guide scope Mount, aligning the guide scope to the OTA is easy and precise. Simply adjust 2 independent knobs, the guide scope can be moved in 2 different directions by +/-12º.
The Guide scope Mount also features a ¼-20 screw to hold a camera, functional as a piggyback mount. The screw can be used to fix the tube ring too, or for mounting a small guide scope, directly to tighten the tube and the mounting plate together.
Standard Sky-Watcher/Vixen dovetail saddle plate. Fits onto Sky-Watcher tube ring via camera mounting bracket.

About Sky-Watcher
Sky-Watcher was launched in 1999 featuring a modest line of Newtonian and refractor optical tubes, with distribution in Europe and Asia. In 2000, Sky-Watcher released their first series of Dobsonian telescopes, and two years later answered the rising popularity of digital SLRs with their first version of the famed German Equatorial Mount, the EQ6. Today, with a full product line that includes Dobsonians, APO refractors, EQ mounts, and photography products, Sky-Watcher has grown into the most popular telescope brand worldwide.
