The Far-Sight is Farpoint's award winning, stainless steel, quick-release binocular mounting and targeting system. This rugged and attractive mount is designed to work with most porro-prism binoculars and red-dot finders, along with most parallelogram mounts and tripod heads. There are no tools needed or screws to thread in the dark! Awarded a "Hot Product for 2007" by Sky & Telescope magazine, its elegant design and durable construction will support years of satisfying viewing.
The Farpoint Astro FAR-Sight is designed to work with most parallelogram mounts, binocular tripods or tripod heads and works best with porro-prism type binoculars, as well as many larger roof-prism binoculars that have a standard 1/4-inch mounting hole on the hinge between the barrels.
The mounting hole may usually be found by unscrewing a cover at the end of the hinge between the objective barrels of the binoculars. The top of the FarPoint Astro FAR-Sight bracket is compatible with almost all red-dot finders - allowing their user to locate objects of interest with greater ease.
